Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Cooked Food on Campfires

1.16 Pre-3 has changed how campfires interact with food. It allows players to put food on unlit campfires (which pops off when the campfire is lit). This means you'd have to place all the food on the campfire AGAIN once lit, and the new unlit campfire functionality is purely decorative.

Why not embrace this decorative element? Currently only raw food (9 items) can be placed on a campfire, making for a rather pallid (pale/sickly) looking food platter or campsite.

Because all food pops off the campfire when it is lit, why not allow ANY food to be placed upon it? This would allow for more colourful spreads: a hearty steak just cooked on a fire, or a potato seemingly baked in its embers! Perhaps even a little smörgåsbord with bread and berries?

Doesn't that sound fun, and creative, and just a little Swedish? I'm grinning just writing about it, this feels like such a natural choice! I really hope we get this expressive little addition

    Can’t you just cook the raw food in it then just leave it when it’s done cooking
