Playing at (PC) home for the quarantine, I finally got to go to my dorm for college with my laptop, then i realized cloud saves weren't a thing, time to grind back to level 50 :/

I bought Minecraft Dungeons on Nintendo Switch at release. I would love to have cross saves so I can justify buying another copy for Windows 10 immediately.

I would like to play this game on my TV with the Switch docked, handheld Switch for portable play and for Windows 10 so I can play on my desktop gaming rig with friends using Discord. I'm thinking of getting a new generation PS or Xbox and would consider buying a third copy pending how the game develops.

So by implementing cross saves you will earn additional sales. I don't care about people cheating as I would ignore those as I would only play with legitimate progression.

Love the game. It is however disappointing that there is no cross-save capability, especially when we are concerned with the Microsoft family of devices. I could see the difficulties with PS4 and Nintendo Switch as they are limited to those platform holders regulations for their respective networks. But the Xbox and PC versions don't have the capability either, which seems to be a backwards maneuver for a company that is promoting cross compatibility.

I am a Software/Electrical engineer by trade, and have worked with many initializing file systems in the past (i.e. save states). I can't believe that you would have engineered separate save state structures for each platform. This should be a fairly easy fix I would think, at least as far as the Xbox and PC markets are concerned.

I actually prefer having an offline save, i would be fine with cloud saves as long as there's the option to keep things local.

I'd been playing halo and gears of war a lot between my PC and Xbox where I can set it down in one room and pick up in the next. I just assumed that another game that is a major Microsoft release would offer the same functionality. Was hugely disappointed when I realized I had to just pick a system. Even with the regular Minecraft Bedrock, I can play the same level on all my systems. If this feature was added I would probably buy this game for my Switch to have a hand held option to build my character, but as is this is another back log game.

This is especially bad on PC. My game kept crashing consistently and after a bit of googleing I saw the best way to stop the crashes was to uninstall/reinstall the game. Unfortunately I didn't know Cloud saves weren't a thing, as they should be the standard nowadays (especially since I have to log in with an Xbox account). Needless to say when I reinstalled I quickly found out my characters were gone, so instead of being able to play with friends on Apocalypse, I had to start from scratch re-grinding my way up.

*Edit* Devs if you read this I submitted crash reports for every crash, hopefully that helps the issue. I can provide more details if you want to know specifics of my PC.

Even if the saves are locked to a specific platform, being able to sync across devices is an absolute must. I don't have the money to buy the game on multiple platforms but I would still like to be able to play on my PC at home and then take my laptop somewhere and have access to that character.

I am on PC and it is pain in the axx to find save files, cloud save would be an awesome feature to add to this type of game (well any game really).

Please, please, please enable Cloud Save.  If I am playing using my XBox (logged in using Microsoft Account) and then switch to PC (logged in using same Microsoft Account), I should be able to resume the SAME character!

I own the game on Switch and I'm playing it on the Windows store via the Game Pass, I would love to be able to toggle my character between the two systems instead of having 2 separate characters.

that would be amazing because let say your using a desktop to pla mcd. you cant move it easily like a laptop, can you? no. so if you visited a relatives/friends you could still acess your game.

This is probably the top of my list of most important features to add. I'm playing through pc game pass and want to buy the full game, but I'll hold it off until we get cloud save. This is important as I would probably stop playing if I lost my character due to hardware malfunction/file corruption.

Please let me load my characters from other PC or Xbox. Not having sync progress is unacceptable in 2020

As a Game Pass owner, it would be nice to be able to play the same character between my Xbox and PC.

I have played and wasted time because there wasn't cloud save. What a disappointment. I have, an xbox account, and a mojang account. I expected a cloud save. What a disappointment..

Whilst cloud saves are supported on Xbox unlike PlayStation, I am absolutely amazed that a first party Microsoft Studio does not support Cloud Saves on the Windows Store, nor is it PlayAnywhere.

    Extremely disappointed in Mojang.

I agree. I really enjoy the game, and I'd actually buy the game for other platforms like the Nintendo Switch if we had cloud-saving across all platforms.

I believe it would incite consumers to buy the game for more than one platform if the game had such a feature. People would play the game on console or PC at home but also on the Nintendo Switch when they're not at home.

That being said, cloud-saving for all available platforms would make it a lot more convenient for everyone. That way, we wouldn't have to transfer these files locally everytime we make progress ingame. However, if cloud-saving isn't possible at that time, at least having the ability to transfer save files locally would still be better than not being able to carry over progress at all.

I also agree to having cloud save for Minecraft dungeons. I myself have been playing Minecraft dungeons on my Xbox, but I cannot make videos nor stream on YouTube. I look forward to having cross save in Minecraft dungeons so I could buy the game on my PC and save my progress so I could post videos on the release of Jungle Awakens, the first DLC of Minecraft dungeons coming in July.

I don't understand how Microsoft sees this game without cloud save. Are we a joke to you Microsoft? I mean much less popular companies have cloud save on their games, and considering the savefile size which is small af, I don't see any logic why we don't have that option already.

hi. I 100% back this post up. I play on 2 computers, signed into the same XBL (Xbox Live) account. cloud saving MUST be added ASAP. for all versions. Microsoft, Mojang, PLEASE do this. I feel this is vital for multi-device gameplay.

    yours sincerely, Doctor of MC

I didn't even realize this wasn't a function of the game until today. I've been playing on Xbox with my son, but it is frustrating sharing a screen especially as he is the type to want to constantly fiddle with his weapons and armor selection or wander off in the wrong direction. I decided to utilize my Game Pass and load up Dungeons on my laptop so we would each have a screen to ourselves only to find I couldn't access my character/hero. I'm just so used to being able to do this with things like skins for Minecraft or games like Moonlighter where I can seemlessly switch between Xbox, PC, and xCloud without thinking about it. Very disappointed that a modern studio game would omit such a player-friendly capability.

I would personally really love this. After working my way about halfway through the final mode, I decided to take a break and uninstall the game for awhile. What I didn't realize is that it would completely wipe my progress, and when I went back to playing again I had to do a complete restart. I play on windows 10, and I would also enjoy being able to pull my data from windows 10 over to my switch, or another windows 10 laptop should I decide to buy a new one.

In response to offical comment from MC: Cross save between any windows 10 pc and xbox one since this game is on xbox game pass ultimate.

It is asinine that a 1st party game released in xbox game pass ultimate doesn't have cloud saves within your Microsoft account. Please add this!

Platform-Agnostic (Cross-Platform and Same-Platform) Cloud Saves should have been a product launch objective. Please prioritize this feature for XBox, Windows 10, and PlayStation product platforms. Lack of this feature negatively impacts overall product satisfaction.

Had a very good time with Dungeons on my PC, but now on my new Xbox Series X I obviously would like to continue my save game. Actually, now I won't continue playing it at all. Was considering buying the DLC on top of my Game Pass subscription, but until this is fixed I won't do that either.

Going through this feedback page made me realize I would need to buy the DLCs separately for PC and Xbox (on the same Xbox account, with the same Game Pass subscription)? That's also a show stopper for me. Just a side note here, will comment on the appropriate issue as well.
