    In Java Edition, wool, carpets, and string can already be used as furnace fuel

    Since all of these items are made from flammable materials (like wool or wood), it makes sense for them to work as fuel. Players often end up with extra string,  or too many carpets, and being able to smelt them instead of tossing them would be a nice quality-of-life improvement.

    Suggestions:


    Add fuel functionality for wool, string, and carpets in Bedrock to match Java Edition.

    Make the burn times balanced (short, like sticks or wooden tools) so it's useful but not overpowered.

    This would make crafting and storage more efficient and give these items a bit more purpose once they’re no longer needed.
