Idea to make birch forests more unique/interesting

At the moment, birch forests are one of the most boring biomes in the game, being a less interesting version of the standard forest biome. My idea is simple: Change the colour of birch forests from green to bright, autumnal orange. Something like the picture below (Maybe slightly less saturated)

This colour change would affect both leaves and grass in the same way swamps and dark forests do it, so no new blocks need to be added.

    I like this idea but one post that is under review is about giving the biomes seasons and that would kinda make this idea useless. I do fully agree that the birch forest needs an upgrade. Maybe they’ll add a new animal to it soon.

    I agree. I also think that the birch trees need to be a tad bit taller and skinnier. Including the idea of trees, why not add simple physics when you cut them down?

    I really like this idea, but I can see how it would cause problems with players that have bases in birch forests.

    Maybe instead of changing the texture of all Birch Leaves, a new biome could be added that makes grass and leaves become Autumn coloured? This biome would become the standard Birch Biome, but it would still allow players in older chunks of their world to have the boring leaves/grass. Its a bit of a cheap way to add this, but I think it would still be good.

    I don't think many people are aware of the tall birch forest biome. It's slightly different and is somehow more appealing to me. The leaves would probably be nice iin a season-oriented change, but I don't think anything of the like would be implemented soon

    We have a snowy version of plains and taigas, so maybe we could have an autumn version of oak and birch forests?

    Maybe instead all leaves and grass being orange, there could be slight variation with a hue map? Hues would change between red and orange and yellow between different locations in the biome.
