The Doomveil is an evil curse that spreads transforms forests (in the Overworld) into places of horror and death, and is the homeland of the illagers. The Doomveil will spread across the world and will turn the grass gray, the trees black and bare, and large pillars of stone rise out of the ground, and thick mist will settle down hiding the horror within. The curse can be lifted by defeating the Oppressor at the illager temple which can be found the heart of the Doomveil, by following a broken path. When the curse is lifted the area that was newly infected by the Doomveil will be returned to its former state.
The Doomveil will not spread again until the Oppressor has been defeated again
Note: this is not a biome nor a dimension, but it's a combination of the two, and the boss, and the structure play the driving role in the Doomveil's mechanics.
