Fungus Meat

In the Nether Update, we now have the Warped and Crimson Fungus but they are kinda useless. That's why I think it would be a great idea to have a new food variant which is called "Fungus Meat". To craft it you need 2 Crimson and 2 Warped Fungus. It's red and blue faded and it fills 2-3 hunger bars. This will be a great food source in the Nether the fact that Hoglins only spawn in Crimson Forests and deal a lot of damage to players as well as they have 10 health points which makes it hard to kill them. We can also find Mushrooms in the Nether which we can use to create Mushroom Soup but they are unstackable which makes it annoying for players to carry plenty of bowls in their inventory while they're adventuring. That's why I think we need a new food variant in the Nether. It will make it more exciting and will give us the oppurtunity to survive simpler than before. Now of course the Nether should be a difficult place to survive, that's why it would be normal if the Fungus Meat gets a nerf for example becomes harder to craft or fills less hunger bars. Atleast we can get a new food variant in the Nether!

    Great idea! This would help a lot when the player ran out of food in the Nether.

    Actually they aren't useless. The crimson fungus can make more crimson trees and same with the warped fungus. The warped fungus also can be used to keep Hoglin's away, and to ride and control a strider. But I do agree, there should be a more easy to get, food source. Then again it is the nether, it is meant to be hard, so I understand why they wouldn't.
