When playing on Easy Difficulty it is rather sad and frustrating that villagers have a 100% chance of dying to a zombie attack whereas on Hard Difficulty you at least get the chance to cure your villager.
This is rather counterintuitive and almost forces players to play on Hard if they want to ensure the safety of their villagers against zombies.
I understand the reason behind this is to not create more hostile mobs making it more difficult for a player to survive on easy if a village gets attacked by zombies. But this will instead make players loose their villagers whom they might have spend countless hours tending to.
My solution is that instead of villagers dying when attacked by zombies, they will be knocked unconcious for a while. When being unconcious they will be ignored by zombies.
This should still follow the general 0-50-100% propabillity of them either being killed or converted as it is now.
Additionally this could also be applied to villagers getting attacked by other hostile mobs.
They should still be able to be killed if falling from a great height, burned or drowned.
