The limbo biome will include multiple features that would be unique to only there, this could include: Condensed bone blocks, charcoal blocks underneath the surface. (This means to also add a "Charcoal block")While you are in this biome it should initiate a way to get to a new realm that would require the player to die to get to it (Totem of undying would be able to allow you to travel to the dimension without losing any items).
This realm would include a low gravity atmosphere meaning the mobs would be able to jump two blocks. Long stays in this realm 'might' corrupt the overworld so the longer you stay the more the limbo biome will expand in the overworld. New block/entities could include new ores specifically for the limbo, but they would be hard to collect as the chance of dying in the biome would be high, this would be the reason why you would go to the limbo dimension. Where you would need to get to the coordinates of 0,0,0 to escape where a portal would be. Although there will be some distorted items in the limbo realm that are unique to only that place. As for some species, phantoms might be a nice addition as they don't have anywhere, they can call theirs alongside it makes sense due to their naming alongside maybe a new mob that acts like a 'ghost'. This could also lead to a new boss system equal to the Wither/Ender Dragon that both represent the beginning/end, because Limbo is seen as a realm between, it may also include an achievement for beating the boss.
