I think the Ravager should be tamed first and then maybe the player could use the Ravager's saddle to rid him. One thing that could happen was that the Ravager would attack the player after the player riding him for too long. Overall, is a great idea!

Riding a Ravager should be a lot harder. For example, it can have a chance to randomly throw the player off and start attacking them.

Cool concept. But, If you didn't Already know Minecraft has a deep lore maily centering around the villagers/ illagers/ pillagers. This probably won't happen since ravagers may be villagers transformed by  the illagers into a monster. So because villagers themselves don't arready drop anything. It would make sense for ravagers to be the same.

Well, Ravagers themselves are rare and also hard to kill.  I could make it so that they don't always drop them, and instead just a regular saddle.  And I agree for the idea they should be tamed first.  Any ideas on how they should be tamed?  I also suppose the idea of being attacked for riding it too long is great.  Maybe if you ride it for twenty minutes straight and a twenty minute cooldown.  They would attack once (but not kill you since they're tamed) to let you know you've been on for too long.

Maybe the saddle itself should have maybe a 75% chance of dropping (I would lower the chance if the Ravager was more common).

TheKiwiMango5 Well first off that isn't confirmed. Just because GameTheory makes a theory, doesn't mean it is automatically true and that is canon. It is only a guess what may be true. Who know's, maybe it could mean nothing at all. So it isn't really fair to say something should do something because of a theory MatPat had. All though it seems tight and makes sense, in the end it is just a theory. A GAME THEORY (sorry lmao) Plus look how many times he has re-written the fnaf story line. I'm not saying you can't or shouldn't believe it, I am saying you should be aware that it isn't confirmed or 100% true.

But in relation to this I agree with Kiwi it should only drop a saddle, due to being able to ride a Ravager is way to powerful. Besides, the totem of undying and the emeralds you get is enough of an award.

I'm pretty sure Ravagers aren't meant to be ridden. Plus, that would be too OP if you consider the Ravagers stats compared to a horse.

I recommend the same saddle could be used to tame Hoglins.

But how would you tame a ravager? Would you find them in the wild? Steal them from the Pillagers?

agreeing with the dork1muffin once again at the end of every video matpat legit says its just a theory a game theory also controlling ravagers would be too op raids would be easy you could just walk over pillagers anyways that's how I feel
