Gravel makes cobblestone

Basically, you put gravel in a 2x2 crafting grid, and wala, you get cobblestone. So far, there is no way to get cobblestone in the Nether, so it will change it forever if that crafting was possible.

    there is blackstone, but it's kind of rare so maybe

    But there is. Blackstone. It’s just a nether counter parts which has the same properties as regular cobblestone, just a slight, slight, slight colour difference, but that’s all

    There is blackstone, but it doesn't have all the full uses of cobblestone. That's why blackstone needs to be fully converted to having all the crafting abilities of cobblestone.
