Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I like the idea, but I also think there should be some sort of enchanted arrow making function as well

You can not repair these items right now so would be cool.

It sounds great! A suggestion I would make is that you should be able to make arrows more efficiently, or even cap them with nuggets to make them do more damage...

A posible function to this block can be that you can change the arrowhead for stone, iron, gold, and all the other materials.

This is very true, many blocks in Minecraft have no use in the game yet! Especially the fletching table. We should have a use for it. I recently fought the ender dragon and I was wondering how useful it would be to have explosive arrows or time bomb arrows. These would be very cool. I also like the idea of different arrowheads. So mojang team, please add a proper use for the fletching table. It would be very much appreciated by the minecraft community, I am sure.

    Does anybody read these?

Fletching table functions would be cool. Arrows are not currently combined with gunpowder to make an explosive missile capable of breaking a block or dealing extra damage and knock back to a boss; this could be an arrow type available with the fletching block. The weight of the gunpowder would make the arrow less accurate to offset its power, rendering it useless for sniping at a long distance. Its percentage of random aim (miss) goes up 20% over 10 meters for every 10 meters, always missing at 50 meters.

Moving the creation of other arrow types here, plus repairing bows, cross bows and fishing rods rods here is another great idea. Creating and modifying bows, crossbows and fishing rods could also be performed on this block. Different woods would produce different effects: durability, power, lure, luck, looting, mending although these effects would not be as high as enchantment effects but could be augmented by such. Maybe bamboo could be used to create mending bows and rods on this block. Using experience points is fine. So many possibilities...

I like this idea! Another idea is that it gives java players a easy way to get tipped arrows, similar to how bedrock players can use a cauldron.

i feel like the fletching table should get more utility but this would pair well with its function

some ideas for what this block could do could also include the mentioned below swapping of the tips of arrows with nuggets
iron nuggets would improve damage a bit overall but gold nuggets could do more damage than iron but lose more damage when facing armour, good on mobs

another thing i am thinking is tinkering with the bow on a crossbow, or a regular bow, the idea is you can use things like iron, stripped wood blocks and goat horn can make the bow more powerful, the materials added can be listed underneath like banners do
with a more powerful piece they have a bit longer range and have more damage, but take longer to draw back, maybye with bows the heavy bows make you lose accuracy after drawn back for long and with crossbows they could lose durability if you leave a stronger crossbow drawn back

when crossbows shoot fireworks they could probably move faster when shot from these heavier crossbows and get more range

this could maybye bring bows and crossbows closer to viable in later game meta and also add cool function to the fletching table

I like the main idea, I had other idea for making it the designated place to craft the bow and crossbow, with perhaps the arrows being crafted more efficiently. But this guys idea is better. 👍. Making other arrows with more power is irrelevant as a max bow is op as is, and wouldn’t fit the standard essence of Minecraft.
