(Dimension) The Denlands

A new dimension players can enter earlier in game. To get to it, you'd need 12 Mineral Soil(which can be found near veins of iron ore) and set them up like an end portal, except vertically. Once that's done, take a bucket of water and pour it onto the portal and you're set.

Terrain in the Denlands mostly consists of plains and amplified terrain. Coarse dirt and podzol make up the surface layers, and Limestone(a new stone only found in the Denlands) underneath. Lakes, ponds, and seas are present with the water looking green and murky. A lime-green skybox that has a day-night cycle with two moons in the sky instead of one.

Maybe there can be castle structures that have Gargoyles which will lie still at first but will fly around and attack you by picking you up and dropping you causing massive fall damage. Lime-green forests with Pixies which are small and easy to kill but can swarm you unless you use a light source like fire to lure them away. Or Giants, neutral mobs found on the plains and in the seas that are twice the size of an iron golem and are difficult to kill but can drop its flesh which you can cook and eat to get a massive strength boost. Maybe extremely rare Phoenixes you could tame with enough patience that can pull you out of lava if you fall in without a fire resistance effect, and can immediately respawn after their death.

    I like this idea, with some tweaking and a little more Of a Minecraft feel I think this idea could shine.

    I kinda like this idea. The only thing that might need some change is with the Mineral Soil portal thing. Maybe, instead, you'd make some new block using those Skulk blocks (like maybe Compact Skulk) and then light it normally using flint & steel.

    Maybe, on that same note, you might want to add something special found in those castle structures that might be worth the trouble of going into them. Since you're going with a sort of earthy/medieval theme with this, maybe add a special weapon to a specific room like a Hammer, which can't be crafted, that will deal MASSIVE damage and incredible knockback but attacks way slower than an axe. So the castles would be like End Cities in that manner, only your going in for a new weapon instead of an armor.
