Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Make chains climbable

I do know you can change this in JavaScript or whatever, but I think it should be for the real thing. Or maybe not

    And add ROPES! They could function just the same, but be useable in so many builds!

    Hmm... it's probably a lot harder to climb a hanging chain than a leaning ladder in real life, but ok

    Maybe you could at least onto them and sit there. You could be able to slow a fall but not climb up, or maybe even swing.

    Yes! Yes! YES! This would be so nice. Make them work exactly like the new nether vines!

    This reminds me of the 90s "Jill of the Jungle". An interesting feature with this could be that, perhaps, chains would swing. Obviously this would be a bit more difficult to program, but it would be similar to the update of string on a tripwire. There could be durability built into the chain, too, like anvils. Over time, the chain would begin to crack or change in appearance. One weak link could cause the entire chain to collapse like scaffolding. Old/damaged chain could be smelted for an iron ingot. I was thinking of posting this until I found your post. Good luck!
