Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Sustained Noteblock

Make it so there’s a way for noteblocks to be sustained to make songs sound better

    It would be super cool if we could right-click a Noteblock with a Clock item to change the duration of the note.

    For some sounds (blocks under the noteblock) it could just be that the note plays as long as the block is powered.

    Typically having a bit of extra timing after the noteblock does the trick of having that effect.

    Sustain could be tied to how long the redstone signal is on, and volume could be tied to redstone strength.

    Yeah, the best way to do this would be to make note blocks sustained via continuous redstone power, with the loudness directly proportional to the strength of the signal.
