Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Revert Lodestone Compass with Grindstone

Use a Lodestone Compass in a Grindstone block to revert it back to a normal Compass. Currently, if a Lodestone block is broken, any Compasses that are tracking it will become completely useless unless they are assigned another Lodestone block to track instead. This feature would allow Lodestone Compasses to be restored to functioning as a normal Compass.

Great idea. I intuitively assumed that this would already be implemented, but was shocked to find out it isn't. It's not a big deal but would definitely make the game feel more coherent and intuitive for probably not much coding effort (compared to other features).
