That would be over powered, After getting fortune III you have unlimited diamonds

The use of the smithing table turned out to be very disappointing, I think this is a very good idea to give it value, in addition to the fact that these attributes would only be used in the early game, because more advanced in the game you already have all your tools completely enchanted .

Well it wouldn't effect how many of the ore dropped but things like speed or durability and I will admit that my idea for the pickaxes upgrade was a half effort kinda thing, because it snot easy to create a good boost to it that players will be dying to have. That being said if that was still  thing maybe a stone pick could mine redstone but not diamond and iron could mine debris. The stone pickaxe wouldn't be used that much anyways and debris needs diamond anyways to be of any use. Obviously the idea needs some refinement, but I would encourage you to refine *your* comment and say exactly what you mean so that I can better form ideas for tempering. Ive also thought that with the introduction of netherite diamonds may lose some of their value so having unlimited diamonds, which many people already have if they play singleplayer, a server whose currency is seperate from diamonds or a server like sci-craft, wont be that impressive and it will be all about the netherite thus balancing tempering to the degree you have cited.

I totally agree about the smithing table. When the dev's said that they were going to find a better use, rather than make diamond up gradable to netherite, and people said we like the netherite thing really disappointed me. Mainly because that is it's only use. Plus for such a cheap block. I mean, you could have this block before you have a iron pickaxe. I also like this concept. The only things I don't like is the examples you gave. I get the gold on tools and the iron idea is ok, but all the others are too overpowered. Like the gold on armor for example. The whole purpose of the piglin feature is to give gold a purpose. Other than that it is pointless. Good concept, but we could find better uses for each mineral.

He basically said that the idea I made was good but some aspects of it need changing. I agree and this idea was more for inspiration for a core feature. I’m not sure how they could take it or where but I wanted to get the general idea and name, as pretty proud of that, out there. I also hope to show commitment to this idea by coming back to it over and over. Unfortunately my idea for the UI may have not made it through because I attached a photo to it which may‘ve invalidated it. Oh well. But to the previous person I agree that it needs fixing and modifying a bit but that’s why it takes consideration.

I was just about to suggest tempering for netherite by using a lava bucket on it in the blast furnace, Love your idea though, Your idea has a better place in the overall game ballance, this would especially come in handy in early game hardcore.
