Nether Biomes not being netherack

One really disappointing aspect of the nether update is that cool biomes like the Soul Sand Valley and Basalt Deltas are just netherack with a thin layer of their block on top. I feel these biomes should be made entirely of their block, with few to no netherack blocks.

    I agree, i think blackstone should also generate in more biomes under netherack

    Is there a way to bump suggestions so that they get more attention?

    To be honest, if blackstone was under soul sand in the valleys, it would probably be more appropriate (assuming blackstone isn't destroyed like netherrack is by ghast explosions, anyway).
