I've witnessed a good few number of people harp on the Woodland Mansion for lacking content, but frankly, I always felt it was a wonderful place to light up and call a home. I do, however, find it a little TOO easy to light up and call a home. Way too easy, in fact, and once one has already lit it up and cleared the mobs, it functionally serves no other purpose. In fact, unless you like to have many places to call a home, like I do, the woodland mansion serves no purpose other than to add a rather appealing aesthetic to the dark oak forest, due to its lackluster loot and mobs. You might also notice that you can compare this structure to an almost Identical one: the Ocean Monument. Yet, the Ocean Monument is not "trashed" as much as the Woodland Mansion despite having both less loot and less space. This is due to the Monument having two other factors which are far more valuable. Those factors are loot with more value and a challenge.
My suggestion to fix this lack of appeal with the mansion would be to add a boss, or challenge in general, to the mansion. I personally don't have many boss ideas, but I will link this suggestion, https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360009437072-Villager-quests-villager-adventurers-new-boss , which mentions a boss designed like a giant golem. I like that idea from that post, so I'll mention it here. This boss could also have a helpful, exclusive drop for pre-Nether players. That is all, thank you.
