Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

This would allow for better looking Nether Portals.

    Maybe the processed Nether Portal can cross a longer distance, for example 1: 8 becomes 1:16

    I like this idea, and I think that a byproduct of crafting chiseled obsidian could be obsidian shards, you could craft obsidian arrows or other items that inflict high damage on the opponent because of its super-sharp properties.

    Good stuff! I think obsidian needs more love, considering that it's one of the strongest blocks in the game. It would be good for it to double as both a really strong block and a block that looks nice too.

    The tool or armor made of obsidian fragments is a good idea, but I think it needs to limit its attack speed and Enchanting

    I used this idea in my End Update series.

    I think there should be Obsidian Bricks.

    Also Pearlescent Obsidian Bricks- Obsidian Bricks coated with Ender Pearl (Or at least Ender Pearl in the cracks between the bricks)

    I wouldn't mind more obsidian building blocks period, though to improve the texture they should go for a  fire Obsidian look.
