Piglins use drums to call reinforcements whenever their bastions are invaded. It produces a sound when used. Also, it increases the chance of Piglins spawning in a 16x16x16 area around the drum. Drums can generate naturally in Bastion. Piglins have a ~4.72% chance to barter a drum. Drums are most quickly broken with an axe.
When Piglins detect a player, at least one Piglin rushes to hit a nearby drum to warn the others of an incoming threat. With each drum beat, the chance of reinforcements spawning increases from 25-30%. This only work if a Piglin is the one who hit it, it does not work with the player touch. Also, this brings the mechanics that the spawning of Piglins is renewable as long as there are Piglins and drums around them. If you want to conquer a Bastion, destroy all the drums and Piglins will be unable to respawn.
For players, drums are musical blocks that play a musical note when hit the top face of the block. The closer a player hits the center of the head, the deeper and longer it is going to sound. Hitting near the edge of the head will produce a more dried and short sound.
Like Note Blocks, drums can be powered by redstone and will change the sound it emits depending on the block underneath itself. Drums can imitate the sounds of bass drums, snare drums, steel drums, toms, octobans, timables, congas, and bongos.
