New biome: withered island

A new biome that is similar to the mooshroom island except in the nether!! A withered biome in the middle of massive lava lakes, only accessible by strider or elytra. The biome would be withered itself and consist of wither trees (which work like wither roses but on a more intense scale) and wither roses, as well as this biome would be where wither skeletons would spawn in higher quantity than a fortress. As of right now the strider doesn’t really have a purpose more of just a limited use, so a place being a new withered biome only accessible by strider would be a really interesting addition. The addition of said biome would also increase the want/need to venture far out into the nether for the increased spawn rates of wither skeletons and to obtain wither roses/wither trees. The only way to make a wither rose is by a wither killing a mob, so therefore the only way to obtain them safely in say hardcore mode is by trapping a wither inside of a gateway portal (portal breaking is also something Developers dont want in the game, the evidence for this is, it was fixed and people found a new way to break them) so there’s no way to safely obtain wither roses other than portal breaking so a biome that is dangerous to get to that spawns the wither roses would be very useful.

    A wonderful idea! Could have the wither trees be giant Wither Roses/ Rosebushes.

    There a dozen biomes that could be added in the nether (I'd say 10 is more than enough FOR NOW) but the devs already confirmed there won't be more, and as always, that's unfortunate. It is really sad that they put less emphasis on the amount of biomes and instead focus sometimes on more irrelevant stuff. It is clear that biomes are pretty much the community's favorite feature.

    Maybe the wither trees could be a black version of the crimson and warped wood blocks and could be crafted into withered planks
    Maybe if you take the wood outside of the nether and into the over world it becomes safer only killing nether mobs
    Maybe if you put it around your portal no nether mobs can escape
    I really love the idea and also really want more colours of wood
    We have
    Purple,Blue and Orange with Acacia,Crimson, and Warped planks
    So why not a black coloured wood

    I hope this biome is added in an upcoming update, unfortunately there won't be any more biomes for 1.16 :(

    These wither trees should drop saplings that can only be grown on a block that is dead like dead coral and soul sand/soil.

    How about there is also the t with two skulls on it in the island or even just the t and there is new withered netherack withered wood which needs to be purified some way and it's a black wood the trees could rarely have a few worth leaves or the trees could be massive rose bushes and you can bonemeal a wither rose and make a rose Bush or tree

    What if the bark and the leaves of the wither trees were black, and the inside/the actual wood part was like a white/grey colour? And maybe, very very very very rarely, a wither will spawn on the island

    Maybe the wither trees could be like the wither roses that poison you when you walk into them. And maybe the animals in that biom would also be all withered to fit the scenery
