Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Crying Obsidian Ender Chest

I think it wold be nice to be able to have a second Ender Chest, this one crafted with Crying Obsidian. It would behave similarly to a normal Ender Chest, but with a separate inventory from the original Ender Chest. A second Ender Chest would assist with inventory management and would allow players taking on large projects away from their base to be able to carry even more items.

A Crying Ender Chest would be crafted with eight Crying Obsidian in a ring with a Eye of Ender in the middle.

It would also be interesting if the Crying Ender Chest would behave similar to a backpack or sack in Minecraft mods, allowing a player to open the Crying Ender Chest inventory without having to place it down.

    Maybe this version of the ender chest could interact with hoppers too

    Also the crying enderchest could be accessed by multiple players, so they could share items
    This could be done with teams - the items are shared with other members of your team

    A Crying Obsidian Ender Chest could be like a public ender chest. It could happen when normal Ender Chests get damaged, retaining the ability to transport items but displaying them publicly

    a community e chest would be really good however it should be really difficult to make

    EG:8 netherite scraps surrounded by one eye of ender

    Well, I'm almost 3 years late to the party. Feel like I have to comment though, that sounds like a brilliant idea and the other replies in this thread seem awesome. A community enderchest would encourage teamwork and reduce toxicity in online servers/realms. What a shame this is Minecraft Feedback, they don't actually acknowledge all you talented guys coming up with brilliant ideas.

    Maybe people like us should code this and make a mod pack or something?

    Ohhh! I thought of something! The crying ender chest can be used like a mail box! You can place it down and go inside the chest then put stuff in it and there will be a UI that says done, When your done putting stuff in it you can hit The Done UI and more UI will pop up saying all the players on the server or realm or world click one of them and that stuff will get sent to them.
