You have to hit a block multiple individual times to break it

Hit it once and it takes and holds damage done to it instead of holding the button and when you let go the damage resets.

    I see why you would want this but I don't think this would be a good addition to the game. When breaking blocks, players just hold down to do so which is really helpful for big areas. It would not only be annoying to constantly have to tap or click over and over again, it would also be painful since your hand would probably start to cramp after a while. So I think it's best to leave the block breaking mechanics as is.

    Every idea is a great idea but I feel like if we should have anything with that cracks staying on the blocks then they should make it so you hold down the mine button like you do now and when you release the mine button the cracks stay. And then you can keep mining the blocks later. But I think it is best as it is now.

    Naw, Imagine accidentally hitting your house walls and stuff. Maybe just for one type of block

    Auxiliaryy6924, one solution to fix that problem is by coding it so the blocks cracks disapears after a special amount of seconds. But I still like minecraft mining best as it is now do.

    In my opinion that should be in. That could be useful for mining with others.

    But I think that the damage shouldn't stay as long. I think after 5 minutes the block could be normal or/and if 100 other blocks are cracked the first block should get normal.

    And holding should hit multiple times like it is but slower as it is now (but it should take the same damage in the same time as now). Mining by pressing the button should take the same time es holding.

    I can see where you have derived that idea from however to be honest, it is not the best idea because it would let down a lot of players

    Accidental hits would ruin the aesthetic purposes of blocks with intervening black lines

    If that was done, cps hackers would have an insane advantage.
