Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Improved Cracked Blocks!

You Wana know what would be a fantastic idea? Any cracked block emits light and certain textures through the cracks. The Light emitting wouldn't give out much of a light source (depends on how close that block is to the cracks) you can even color the light with glass blocks to emit a different light source. You could even give it unique properties where if put lava and water (maybe slime and honey?) Behind the cracked blocks it would ooze and show small details and texture of it coming through without it spilling of course, Leaking basically. Maybe even have sand and gravel come leaking through as well if placed behind it!

    This is an awesome idea, very atmospheric, but we don't actually have different colored light yet. They have shown it implemented in the RTX graphics, but don't expect to see that for a few years at least.

    I think you described it a bit, but for light and liquids seeping through the cracks, I think a few specific pixels along the cracks could be changed to the color of whatever is coming through.
