This idea revolves around the thought of what if the nether put a new twist on ice. Introducing the black ice biome! This new area in the nether would consist of black ice a new block very similar to blue ice that would be in structures similar to an ice spike biome. Because of this biome being the coldest in the nether it is most rare. And when you break this black ice ash can sometimes fly out. But beware of the wither roses that grow along with a new plant called nether thorn. Nether thorn are gray and deal half a heart if you touch it. This new biome has an increased chance of wither skeletons spawning as well as the only nether biome that you can find silverfish. Also gray particles float around in this biome. As well as a cyan grayish fog when you walk into this biome.
