XP to Sleep

Being able to use a bed every night makes the game too easy, as it bypasses the majority mob encounters the player could have. If a player wishes to pass the night, they must face it first. Using a bed to sleep should consume XP. Anywhere between 1-3 levels, this should depend on the difficulty. This would be an extremely easy, and fairly effective wave to improve the game's survival mechanics.

    I don't like the idea man. The point of sleeping is to skip the night, there's no reason to overcomplicate it. Losing levels also doesn't make much sense.

    This is an interesting idea, however Minecraft isn't just about mob slaying. By creating this obstacle to skip the night you make it about mob slaying and I don't think that's what players want out of Minecraft.
