Standing on Ghasts

This may seem weird, but I just thought, what if you could jump on top of Ghasts? Before you say this is impossible to create, striders can step on top of entities, so you can make something step on another entity. I am not suggesting rideable Ghast, I'm just suggest that you could stand on the top of a Ghast's head. Maybe they could be slightly bouncy? It would be a cool way to traverse the Nether. A reason why this might be needed: if you want to reach something on the top of the Nether such as glowstone, you could jump on a Ghast and wait for it to go to the sealing. However, you could be clothes-lined  because of a low overhang, and you are vulnerable on top of the Ghast as you don't have much space. All the other sides of the Ghast cannot be jumped on!

    How do get on them without them shooting at you? And I am assuming that they can't be tamed.

    I think this could be really cool, kinda similar to Minecraft story mode!
    Jumping off slimes/magma cubes could be really fun aswell

    I like this idea. But why not make it a ridable ghast? I would like a special proc sure for taming, saddling, and directing a ghast (similar to how this is done with striders. Towns could have Ghast airports and it would be a great way to explore. Should also have room for a chest and one or two other entities. When in directed mode (with the right thing on a fishing pole) you could just use the mechanics of flying in creative mode for up and down etc. would also be pretty awesome to have them fire ghast balls on command, it maybe need to be fed something expensive to “charge” them.
