Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Bamboo Spikes

Bamboo Spikes. You can cook bamboo in a furnace to harden it. Then you can craft the hardened bamboo with a sword to make these sharp traps. (NOTE: The sword won't disappear, it will be like in the honey block recipe where the bottle remains in the 3x3 space, but the sword would lose some efficiency)

    Yes! I love the idea of classic pitfalls!

    However, what would this add to enhance current pitfall methods? We already have berry bushes and wither roses to deal DoT when trapped, so would this be a "Fall and take a bunch of damage one time" thing or yet another DoT thing?

    i think using an axe instead of a sword would be more logical, as you chop the bamboo to get the sharp points

    Ah yes, the good ol' punji pit. Definitely preferable to surrounding my house with berry bushes. Really want this now
