Gypsum Desert (desert variant)

This biome would be a rare variant of the desert with Gypsum (sand variation) and Gypsum Sandstone (sandstone variation). Villages could be easily added, replacing the desert blocks with these blocks. Shrubs could be added, when they are broken giving shrub wood. 9 of these in a crafting table would make oak wood. Gypsum could make tools or have a unique use to motivate players to enter the biome. Readers please comment: 1. Your ideas on this biome 2. What Gypsum could be used for 3.     2. Gypsum Can be used as a block/Sculpture stand for diamond blocks, dragons eggs, etc. through crafting with a form of rarer colored crystal gypsum. Maybe it could add an effect to potion crafting speed by placing in the stand like book cases around an enchantment table with the idea being this biomes blocks and plants are useful for potions and make potions more accessible early game.
