It's called an ender pearl and fast reflexes. The end is supposed to be scary and the void is supposed to be near guaranteed death if you happen to end up in there. This would remove the edge of exploring the end and turn one of the dimension's biggest threats into a minor inconvenience.

This is a cool concept! maybe you could parallel the temporary regen effects a regular totem gives you by instead giving a temporary flying affect? Like, the totem will let you fly as if you had an eleytra with rockets for a short duration? Either way, this seems really interesting!

In survival mode, it is practically impossible to fall into the void outside of the end. This most likely wouldn't even be useful in the end because the ender dragon encounter happens in the middle of the island. The outer end islands could be an applicable use for this, however, as it is easy to fall into the void when traveling between islands. But, as Nathan said, the void is supposed to be foreboding and dangerous. This would completely negate the purpose of the void.

I do agree with Nathan and Alex, but i do find the idea insteresting.  Maybe a "void totem", instead of gold, the totem is silver with purple eyes.  Crafted with one totem of undying surrounded by four ender pearls
