Magnesium ore can be found in the end, it drops some magnesium powder when mined, 9 magnesium powder makes a magnesium powder block, this acts as a weak magnetised block, it pulls magnetic dropped items towards it.
A Magnesium powder block can be smelted into a magnesium block, a strong magnetised block that pulls magnetic items and blocks towards it. And players and mobs wearing iron and chain armor
Redstone Magnet: crafted with a magnesium block , a redstone, a gold, and 6 cobblestone. Acts like magnesium block but needs to be powered to pull things
Example properties:
Magnesium powder block: pulls items from 3 blocks away to the magnet. is a falling block.
Magnesium Block: Pulls items from 10 blocks away. Pulls blocks from 2 blocks away, pulls magnetic armor wearers 5 blocks, acts similar to slime to magnetic blocks, even through walls,
Redstone magnet: works just like magnesium block
I think magnets would be incredibly fun and useful to play around with, just like magnets in real life. the possibilities are endless, elevators that use a magnesium block through a wall to pull an iron block up and down, elevators that pull players with iron armor up. new redstone additions are always welcome.
