Dual wielding, at the moment, is a feature that does not have much use, but could be really cool and has much potential. I propose new/modified enchantments that have the ability to give diverse abilities to different swords and a slowing effect that is applied when using shields. For example, a creeper may explode once hit with fire aspect, encouraging players to want to switch between swords using F. This could be expanded to other enchantments as well, such as more use for smite, bane of arthropods, and sharpness. There could also be enchantments that I would call: "swiftness" and "potence." These would allow for much more diverse cooldown numbers between hits. Swiftess would allow for faster hit speed, but lower power, while potence would be the opposite. Shields giving the player a slowing effect would increase incentive to use dual wielding, and would give differences between defensive players and offensive players.
