Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Respawn anchors should work in all dimensions

There's no reason why the respawn anchor should explode in other dimensions, it's unnecessary. In the nether it might make sense that if you sleep, something might sneak up to you and explode, but it makes no sense for the respawn anchor to do this.

    I think it should be either this, or the "respawn anchor" should be renamed/have an advancement that implies you can only use it in the Nether. Unlike beds, there is no intuitive reason why a "respawn anchor" would not work in the overworld.

    Sorry, I disagree. They even say it is an intentional game mechanic. Setting spawn point in different dimensions should be unique to that dimension. The End should have its own unique spawn point block if they ever do add one.

    Javeloz why? Is there a actual reason other than, 'they said so'? Making dimension locked features without a specific reason is a bad rabbit hole to go down.

    BraveAxe26 The reapawn anchor needs to be charged, probably so that you don't live outside of the overworld permanently
