This Biome in the Nether would sit high a top the Nether’s landscapes and oceans of lava generating at Y 70 and above. The lands of this biome would be ravaged by ghast fireballs, making it a home for them and all sorts of scorched and burnt plant/fungi life. Magma blocks would appear in patches alongside small areas of ash blocks, some of which being enriched with nutrients.
The enriched ash blocks would hold a home for a new brewing item known as the burning nether wart. While holding this in your hand or offhand, you would take small amounts of damage (similar to that of touching a cactus). That also means that walking in it will also hurt you. Even though this is something that would be a hassle to get, the burning nether wart would make a potion that would make it to where anything that attacks you would be set on fire, if not prone to it to begin with.
The charred vegetation in this biome would be very similar to that of the nylium vegetation with scorched roots and sprouts. Charred fungus would also be its own thing, but it would be purely decorative.
