Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Block that Floats on Lava for Nether Transportation

I have heard a lot of people wanting a way to travel around the nether on the lava. However, the idea of boats and lava walker boots seem too good and would take the challenge and risk out of exploring the nether. My idea is a block that you can place that floats on the lava. This makes falling into lava dangerous as it has always been, but allows players to travel across it easier, making exploring a bit more fun for players. This block could also work in the over world and/or on water.
