A nice idea. I like how they expanded these blocks to have their own identity rather than the crafting table having everything. Your idea seems really great

I feel like many people came to this conclusion on their own, but I definitely see nothing wrong with it. Maybe have only certain arrow heads be “tippable” where they could have potion affects added, but higher damage ones couldn’t?

Different materials should be available for the fetching. Each item should have varying accuracy and arrow speed values. The tip should be made from metals, diamond, flint, stone, granite, and various other realistic materials. The material used for the tip should affect durability cost on the bow when the arrow is fired and arrow damage. The type of wood used on the shaft could increase the arrow count produced while negatively impacting the damage and accuracy.

An arrow slot in the inventory may also be useful. It would be above the shield slot.

I was thinking the fletching table could be used to make arrows of (insert potion name here).

I think there should be one slot for an arrow that's already made and another slot for a potion or splash potion and could also hold other items like a wither rose that could make a new type of tipped arrow, a wither arrow. It would be the same with poisonous potatoes which would make poison arrows. I think you could use flowers that you use to make suspicious stew to make tipped arrows like how a poppy in suspicious stew would give you night vision. A poppy combined with an arrow could make a night vision arrow.

making arrows out of more materials, the more expensive the material, the more arrows it makes. with prismarine, blaze rods, ender rods and phantom membrane, it gives the arrows unique properties. The base amount of arrows is four.

Flint-> diamond, iron nugget, gold nugget, netherite scrap, different stone types, or prismarine shards.

Stick-> blaze rod, bone, ender rod, bamboo, sugar cane, or iron bars

Feather-> goat fur, wool, rabbit hide, phantom membrane, string, or leaves

-Consumes one string for each batch of arrows

It could also be used for making fireworks easier and repairing a bow.

yea its kinda pointless because thats basically how you make a arrow unless goats are easier to find than chickens and the drops are more common. But I'm not saying it's bad, It's a great idea but im just saying that it's the same as killing a chicken with flint and a stick.

Kind of pointless. If you were also able to put a feather instead of goat’s fur then it might be easier.

Idk maybe it could be used to repair bows with sticks or string?

Clever, I like the idea of potions, perhaps make it cheaper
