Flooded Forest: Something That The Overworld Needs

It would be cool to have a biome in Minecraft called a flooded forest. This would just be a flooded forest with mountains or hills surrounding the water(so it doesn't trickle into other biomes) and it would have sea grass and tropical fish lurking underwater. There could also be shipwrecks or some sort of ruins, like the ruins of a village which used to be there before it became flooded, so it adds a bit of a story and spice to the Minecraft overworld.

Edit 1: Here are some rough pictures of what these may look like. Im sure minecraft could make even cooler ones though :)

    The flooded forest could also be some kind of huge crater filled with water or a forest that starts on the edge of an ocean and hills downwards into the water

    Amazing idea. This could really be an amazing feature in the game. I would love to see this in the game.

    To be honest, while I like the ruins, why not just add them to a swamp? If the swamp had some new aquatic mobs too I would really see no reason for this biome. However varying water heights in the same biome sounds like a very interesting and unique feature we haven't seen before

    Aslangames because the swamp always has the same trees. Flooded forests can be in spruce forests, birch forests, you name it. Its just a game of chance really. Swamps and flooded forests are two very different things. Flooded forests water levels vary for every individual flooded forest (e.g so water may reach the leaves in one flooded forest, but in a different flooded forest water may only climb two blocks up the trunk of the tree), whereas swamps are always the same.

    (if we do have to go that far, maybe just make flooded forests a variant of the swamp)

    Maybe the ruined villages could consist of copper blocks and bricks?
