Crying Obsidian Dimension

sorry, didn't know what category to put this in

Now, I understand that this idea is a lot, considering you guys have been working on the nether update for a while and I don't know what plans you have for crying obsidian. but.

What if the crying obsidian was made into a portal like shape (maybe the same as the current nether portal or different, I guess it doesn't really matter) but the portal leads you to another version of the nether, a darker more sinister place full of secrets and challenges. Only being able to make this portal in the nether and no where else.

This Version of the Nether would use the same blocks that have already been implemented but they are just a darker, more black version and the mobs are more demonic and sadder.

I'm not sure what you could really add but I suppose something to add to the progression of the game in terms of obtaining netherite gear or a new piece of unique armor could be cool.

The main purpose would be just the nether a more intense 'high risk, high reward' feeling.

 

Edit:

Considering the block used to make the portal is Crying, maybe the dark nether is a sort of prison in hell and has traped all the lost souls in this dismal of a place. This place has a lot of soul sand and other wailing creatures with the distant fog being black in color. Almost like soul valleys, but the world generation would be different and the amount of soul sand would not be as plenty as it is in the normal nether.

    I've seen a lot of posts about a Dark Dimension, Shadowfell, or Shadow Realm. I even tried making a post about it myself. I can see it being a black and white dimension that spawns more undead enemies and gets more challenging the longer you stay there. It would be interesting to see a dimension with no natural light too, meaning you would have to being torches to see anything other than the portal. 

    I've heard that Mojang recently hired the people behind the Aether mod though, so that's a strong possibility to where a Crying Obsidian portal would lead too.
