Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Cordyceps fungus

Or just white mush or any name

A fungus in real life that are parasitic.

In the nether it could look like a small white mushroom.

Which tells a backstory of how piglins turned into zombified piglins after eating the fungus.

If you place it near a piglin it will turn into zombified piglin

naturally piglins will avoid the fungi

Upon eating you get poison?

    What if you turn into a zombie or another undead mob after consumption? Then you could get a game over screen and have the chat say something like, "[Player] turned into a zombie" lol.

    Isn't it already confirmed they became zombified from being in the Overworld too long though
