Hey!
I've been on the Crowdin translation project for some time. Most of the times I just give up! Some strings presented in the English language are hard to "translate and keep the context". it's not impossible but we have to use long complex words most people under the age of 25 don't use. Sometimes the word is not in that language at all and you have to describe the word in the sentence. This requires the string to have a longer and dynamic character field.
Translation should not be limited to the length of the original string.
Some strings need to be short and simple, but a limit on 49 characters might not be enough to describe something that does not exist in the other language.
The code might even support it already but the Crowdin project site should allow 2-3 times the original length.
