Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

ships

you need ships they can be maybe say... 5x5 to 10x10 or for a man o war 20x20 I think that you craft part of it (sail, cabin etc) it can be on a new crafting table and as I said you craft the part and then craft the part with more parts and so on.          canons you craft clay with the hull (below) and it will have canons that shoot a new entity canon balls you put canon balls in the canon and they can be shot by pressing it.

craft it in different ways on the new crafting table to get new ships!

    I like having a new method of transportation for the sea, but this is too much. Why not implement a small ship that can be occupied by three to four players? Better yet, have the ship be harder to control since it has significantly more space and some more weight on it.

    You should have to build the ship your self and then place down a block to turn it into a ship like how some mods do it.
