"achievement" in java editon are called "advancement", you should change it in the title so more people see this.
This would be great.
But dont forget about the Completionists in the community...they would be Furious.What if the achievement was "weird flex but ok." But with a nethreite hoe?
This would be very useful because the normal beacon is kinda bad, and it hasn't had an update in quite a while.

Yes, but with a fully activated beacon. Also, what about an achievement / advancement where you must craft a full suit of Netherite armor and tools? I haven't thought of a name and I'm sure my idea has probably already been mentioned 3: but... Worth a shot. I fully support your beacon idea though. And hopefully they update the beacon, so it has new effects.

YESSSSSSS that will be awesome, but only if they add new super powers to the netherite beacon, and it has to be on tear 4 as well
Nuuu not another hardish feature just make it so that when you fall you crouch for 2 seconds because hunger is already painful
Minecraft needs to stop adding jokes like this that will eventually be dated. Examples include the dabbing armor stands, splash texts, etc.. A cool advancement/achievement idea, but with a bad name. Something like "Overachiever" would be better for the longrun.

YES, this will challenge the secret “how did we get here” achievement in java.
Did the numbers and to get a full netherite block beacon of level 4 power you would need to take all the ancient debris on a nearly 1000 ×1000 block area. Good luck

I really like the idea, but I change these things;
First, I think it should be an hidden advancement, and a challenge, because you have to get over 5,000 netherite scraps (ancient debris), wich is VERY hard to get, it's over than a week to get this much netherite, or 4 full days if you play non-stop.
Kind of like the "how did we get here?" Advancement, wich is really hard to get, because you have to get all the effects possible in survival, but in this case, it's even harder.Second, I think that only the outline needs to be cover in netherite blocks, because over 5,000 netherite scraps is just insane amount, but if it would be just the outline it would be "only" over 2,000 netherite scraps.
And because no one is noticing the inside of a beacon anyways.Overall I like the idea end I hope it could get into Minecraft.

I absolutely love this idea. Such a late game advancement is OK in my opinion, you know the "How did we get here" advancement.
This achievement took me a week to finish but now ill never have to do it again extremely boring but if you do it it will be worth it if you are a completionist i will probably never make a solid netherite beacon EVER again
