Ooooo, I really like this idea! Perhaps instead of having them be craftable, they could be found in some sort of dungeon in the nether. They could be set to give the player one of the debuffs (other than wither of course, that would be impossible to work with), so that the player has to get through the dungeon while they have that debuff to be able to obtain the anti-beacon. Then once they obtain it then it will harm hostile mobs instead of the player. I quite like the idea of having the pyramid have to be made of gold and that it would have to be powered by netherite

I think the only thing I'd change is the player drops part. They're called player drops for a reason, and I think that it'd be a tad broken to the nuanced balance of the game if player drops could be gotten in such an easy wide-scale way.

However, an addition that came to mind, I'd love it if it was an upside down pyramid, and the "Anti-beacon) or Netherite Beacon would always need to be atop the largest level, It'd make it interesting, and easy to hid in builds.

Sounds a little too broken. I'd say it has a charge limit. So Netherite charges it longer than gold, but after some time it will deactivate itself

I like the idea but this would only effect the people who build it so maybe making it so you can assign the debuffs to certain people or mobs

Do we have to overcomplicate it based on who owns the anti-beacon? Even if no player is protected from it, adding Wither would still have a legitimate purpose - think people who try to drill inside your thick obsidian base.

This idea would be very useful, but then if you needed xp, would you be able to collect it? I'm not a noob, I'm just wondering.

I like the idea of the un-beacon, but I think it'd be easier to implement if it effected everyone, including the player that places it.

It would make Good use of Netherite. I like this idea a lot,tho levitation could also be a opposite to jump boost.

and poison as an opposite of Resistance because it reduces health to one and a half hearts.

Or perhaps you could find them in a certain type of illager base or outpost where they use the beacon to slow you down. I suppopse something else that might help in such a setting would be another type of illager that uses potions to prevent it and surrounding illagers from being effected by negative potion effects. Potion of Positivity

A good idea, but kind of op when it doesn't affect the player who made it. I think it should affect everything.

I don't like the idea of netherite armour removing the beacon defects entirely because it would make the (anti beacon) totally useless and not worth using to defend your base. maybe just allow the owner to choose who is effected and Instead of major decreases just minor decreases and yeah, it would be very stable. everything else is perfect tho.
