Essentially, it's a somewhat rare biome in the nether, that would consists of netherrack, magmablocks and basalt. However, the main attraction are the sporadically placed hotsprings (that vary in size from small to large and are randomly placed throughout the biome). These hotsprings contain Netheresian (which is a "water" type that can exist in the nether). The bottom of these hotsprings can contain radioactive granite which causes the hotspring to emit a toxic gas. The toxic gas can be collected in bottles (similar to dragon breathe) and be used for blindness potion in brewing.
Also, there is also some flora in the region (regular nether flora). However, the protagonist flora, is a new cool plant called a rancor, that when fully grown becomes a hostile mob, spitting toxic shots at the player, making them nauseous as well as giving them a poison status effect. Killing them drops rancor fruit, which can be eaten for temporary toxic resistance, or planted for more rancor plants. Putting them in a furnace results in a hardered rancor fruit which can be used to create a new type of block, a reddish purple blocks that has like a pulsating brightness aura some moving through it.
