Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Acacia Wood should be used instead of Acacia logs.

When looking at Acacia trees you can see the rings in the logs and I noticed that you can't see the rings in any other naturally generated trees. If you used Acacia Wood instead you would not be able to see the rings in the tree. If you used Acacia Wood there would be no crafting difficulties either, you can still make these into planks and strip them with an ax.

    What if they simply changed wood textures to have a bark texture when exposed to leaves, the same way Optifine adds grass to the side of grass blocks when they are above another grassblock? That way nothing that significant has to change, but we still get better looking trees

    It should be that acacia trees use hyphae (wood) when a naturally-generated log is exposed to the air.

    All trees should have hyphae replace the top log as well.
