Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Edible Shroomlight Chunks

The Nether currently has no food aside from Rotten Flesh (ew) and hopefully Hoglin meat (not implemented yet). Shroomlight blocks should act like melons and break into edible chunks that when eaten, will give you the glowing effect for a few seconds.

    Not a bad shout to be fair, I’m 100% behind this. That would lead to the possibility of some form of shine potion that gave a lob get er duration of the ability. I can back this 100%

    I think that it should also give you nausea and or blindness when eaten.

    At the moment, shroomlight blocks are just a weird alternative to glowstone, I think something like this would be great and would make them feel more like a finished feature rather than a weird unnecessary block added just to light up the biomes.

    This is actually not bad! Another good source in the nether is good. But I think we could change it up a bit, every time you break it, it will be 50 50 of if you get sroomlight chunks or not. Also have a 8 second effect of Nausea

    Both a new nether food source and a way to get the glowing effect! I like it.

    I think a short nausea effect is okay, but too much and it will become very annoying.
