Renewable Basalt

When lava interacts with water three things can a occur. Flowing lava on flowing water forms cobble. Flowing lava on source block forms stone. Flowing water on still lava forms obsidian. I want to add a fourth outcome. Still lava on still water to form basalt or vice versa. It would give that block a renewable option.

    Maybe have it that the cobble production is replaced by basalt entirely, and have 4 basalt in a crafting table make 4 cobblestone. So you can still have cobble generators but be able to get basalt as well
