Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Basalt coal

I think Basalt should be a type of coal in the nether what do you think?

    basalt isn't flammable in real life, why should it be in game?

    Can't we use the stem's to make charcoal? Though the problem is that we can't make a furnace in the nether, nor any stone progress. Maybe we could use basalt as a recipe for stone items or basalt equivalents instead?

    or coal blocks surrounded by a tough to break block, and burn bone block to get charcoal
