Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Netherite Tridents

I think the trident should be upgradeable with netherite, because it would help to maintain balance between the three major melee weapons. If the trident  doesn't get a netherite form, fewer people would use it, since it would, as previously mentioned, be far weaker than the sword or the axe. Like all netherite tools, a netherite trident would get +1 damage, 33% more durability, be more enchantable, & not be destroyed by fire or lava.

    They should make it so tridents are made out of diamonds so you can repair them using diamonds
    overall, i think this is a really cool idea. i was going to suggest it but i found that someone already did-you did.

    It should have higher range to but the impaling enchant should effect nether mobs instead of water mobs.

    if you grab hold of a the trident and it gives you fire protection then why would't the armor give you fire protection if you had it?

    That would be nice but another idea is make a mob like the drowned for the nether if we'd have a netherite trident

    What about double durability? I think that quite a lot of netherite items have their durabilities doubled as compared to their diamond counterparts.

    Maybe the Riptide enchant could be upgraded when this occurs, making the enchanted trident able to launch the player from lava or when on fire, which could save players from dying.

    For real! Maybe the channeling enchant could cause a little bit more fire or maybe even a tiny explosion to add a little bit of destruction.

    I Agree! But since Tridents are water-based items, enchantments involving water like Impaling, Channeling or Riptide should be reduced or even disabled. This would help balance Tridents.

    This is more of a lava specialised trident. It has fire/lava related abilities like being able to hold fireballs in the trident and shoot the fireball with the trident.
