Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Using ice to remove lava as "lava sponge"

Placing a packed ice into lava(fully submerged) in the nether would couse a small explosion and eradicate the lava(same pattern as sponge) maybe drop cobblestone.

    maybe a new type of ice !? 
    sponges already generate in monuments , so what if the elder guardian instead of dropping a sponge , it would drop a "ice core" item that when you surround it with 4 blue ice & 4 sponges you get the "lava sponge" 
    and it would be the oppsite of the spongs , and you dry it when you place it in water ..

    Good Idea! Maybe The Lava Could Turn Into Magma, So You Can Get It Without having To Go To The Nether!
